Lexington's Urban to Rural Connection

Welcome to Town Branch, Lexington, Kentucky

Town Branch Trail is an under-construction shared use path stretching from Downtown Lexington to Masterson Station Park on the western fringe of the city. At this point, 2 ¼ miles of the over 8 miles of planned walking and biking paths have been constructed. The remaining distance has been fully funded, with construction beginning soon.

About this Site

This site is a production of the University of Kentucky's Spring 2017 GEO409 (Advanced Geographic Information Systems) class. Our theme this semester has been focused on Town Branch Trail; this site showcases our work in mapping, photographing, and researching the trail and its surroundings.
